REFEREE'S TIP: THREE STEP GUIDE TO SHIN GUARDS

 

Step 1: Shin guards go on first Shin guards, completely covered by socks, are required at all games as well as at CYSA practices. Properly worn shin guards go on first (1),
Step 2: Pull on sock up to the knee over the shin guard followed by the sock, which is pulled up to the knee (2),
Step 3: Fold portion of sock above the knee back down over shin guard then folded down (3).
Proper use of shin guards is for the safety of the children. This is a requirement at practice as well as at games. Proper appearance of shin guards
